Fondant 101

So, after wanting to try making fondant cakes for a long time I finally did it!

I thought my boyfriend's birthday was the perfect opportunity for my fondant debut. I was a little nervous about it - a few days before we had planned to attend a friend's House Warming Party and I decided I would make a "practice cake".

My brother was in town visiting and he (almost) single-handedly devoured the entire cake himself. Needless to say - he and Seth thought it was yummy!
